Trauma therapy is designed for individuals who have experienced deeply distressing events that continue to affect their emotional well-being, relationships, or ability to function day to day. Unresolved trauma can present in many ways—anxiety, depression, irritability, difficulty trusting others, or feeling disconnected from life. At Rethink Mental Health, our trauma-informed clinicians create a safe, supportive space to process painful experiences and build healthier coping tools. Whether trauma stems from a single event or long-term difficulties, our goal is to help individuals reclaim a sense of stability, confidence, and peace.
We support clients facing a wide range of traumatic experiences. This includes individuals living with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) resulting from combat exposure, physical or sexual abuse, serious accidents, or other life-threatening events. We also provide specialized care for those affected by childhood trauma, such as neglect, family dysfunction, or emotional and physical harm—experiences that can shape self-worth and relationships well into adulthood. For those grieving a significant loss, we offer grief-focused therapy to help process emotions, honor loved ones, and navigate life after loss.
Our team also works with individuals coping with trauma stemming from work-related events, including high-stress or dangerous environments, workplace harassment, or traumatic incidents on the job. Additionally, many clients come to us after painful relationship-based trauma, such as betrayal, emotional abuse, separation, or divorce. No matter the source of trauma, we meet each client where they are and tailor treatment to support healing, build resilience, and restore emotional well-being.
